Production Crew Bios

Cynthia McKeown (Director, Producer, Videographer) is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has been screened nationally and internationally at festivals and other venues. She has produced and directed over 30 educational, documentary and narrative films and videos, and has taught film and video production at Boston University and the Boston Film/Video Foundation. She has worked as a producer at WGBH-TV in Boston since 1999.

Mary-Kate Shea's (Editor) experience as an award-winning editor working in public and commercial television spans two decades. Her credits include documentaries, news, magazine, public affairs and educational programs. Programs that she has edited have received the Robert M. Bennet Award from the American Film Festival, the CINE Golden Eagle Award, and the Gabriel Award for prestigious television.

Patricia Cahalen (Additional Editing) has been editing documentary and dramatic films for over twenty years. Programs she has edited have won two national Emmy Awards and one local Emmy Award. She has worked extensively at WGBH-TV in Boston on several National Public Television programs including “Frontline,” “NOVA,” “Adventure,” and “Enterprise.”
