Pass-It-Along Parties

Is your book group, social, religious or service organization looking for a great, hands-on and personal way to get involved in raising awareness about breast cancer? If so, you may want to consider hosting a Pass-It-Along party.

The concept is simple: a group of people decide to get together to purchase and watch One in Eight, discuss the issues raised by the film, and then decide whom they wish to pass-it-along to. The choices are many: it could be a friend or relative who is going through breast cancer and could benefit from the information in the video; it could be your local library; it could be your church or synagogue; it could be a cancer support group at a community health center.
