Help Us Spread the Word
We are embarking on a national Outreach Campaign for One
in Eight: Janice’s Journey. Here are the main audiences and ways
the film will have an impact:
- For newly diagnosed women, it will provide a guide
for what to expect while going through various treatments for breast
cancer and ways to advocate for oneself.
- For family members and friends, it will provide insights
into ways to support loved ones who are going through breast cancer.
- For health care professionals, it will provide models
of compassionate and professional relationships between health care
providers and patients.
- For women who have survived cancer, it will provide
a story of hope for the future.
- For the general public, it will raise awareness of
the increased incidence of breast cancer and raise questions about the
possible causes for this increase.
Funding is needed to reach all of these different audiences for the documentary.
Proceeds will support an outreach and public awareness campaign targeting
women’s health organizations, hospitals, media outlets and other
venues.
