Hospitals, colleges, support groups, social work organizations, libraries, professional women's organizations, religious organizations, and individuals have screened One in Eight: Janice’s Journey for a wide variety of audiences.

Consider the people in your life, workplace, school, or social network who may benefit from seeing the film. Or consider screening the film as a fundraiser to help someone you know who is going through her own cancer journey.

  Support Organizing Initiatives


During 2005 - 2006, the Unitarian Universalist Funding Program supported a series of screenings of One in Eight: Janice’s Journey in conjunction with presentations by representatives from the organizations listed below. The purpose was to use the film as a vehicle for raising awareness of breast cancer in communities across Massachusetts, and encourage participation in the educational and advocacy work of these organizations.   Young Survival Coalition

The Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the only international, non-profit network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues that are unique to young women and breast cancer. Through action, advocacy and awareness, the YSC seeks to educate the medical, research, breast cancer and legislative communities and to persuade them to address breast cancer in women 40 and under.
